Welcome!

Membership in the Contemporary Artists' Guild provides local visual artists opportunities to collaborate, share perspectives and interpretations and to build camaraderie among fellow artists, all who are committed to promoting art.  It consists of active exhibiting members and patron members who are supportive of local artists and the arts community.  The member artists may be professional or non-professional.  All members are encouraged to participate in the operation and activities of the group.

CAG hosts the annual Bank Show in which the member artists exhibit their works for competition and sale. This is an opportunity for members to exhibit their current works with no entry fees*, no commissions and also gives art collectors in central Louisiana a chance to see a large number of works, purchase them and meet the artists.

Cash awards donated by sponsors, including businesses and individuals, are presented at the opening reception.

*Meeting attendance requirements must be met.

 

Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm from September through May.

New members and those interested are welcome at any time and may join online or by mail.

Pineville, Louisiana 71361 or bring it with your dues to your first meeting.  Dues may also be paid online and the Membership Form email to dfshanks@gmail.com.
