Our Mission...

The Contemporary Artists' Guild (CAG) is an organization of visual artists united to promote the artistic endeavors of each individual member, and to foster the growth and development of a cultural atmosphere in the community.

It was formed in 1975 and is the oldest organization of visual artists in Central Louisiana.

Logo by member, Joseph Appalucci.

Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month, September - May, at 6:00 p.m.  Meeting location is the Main St. Community Center, Pineville La. (subject to change).  Please contact us for updated information.  As a CAG member, you will receive a copy of the organization's guidelines, member roster, monthly email updates, opportunities to display your artwork in at least two annual shows, chances to learn from other member artists, opportunities for travel and benefits from enjoying the camaraderie of fellow artists.

We encourage all members to be involved with CAG through volunteering for a committee as well as

attending as many meetings as possible throughout the year.

All for art, art for all!
